Early in 2019 Kalamalka Press approached a bunch of local (and sort of local) authors to donate a poem for this project. Each poem was assigned to a Writing & Publishing student to design, hand-set in wood and metal type, and then print in two colours. The second colour and text type (18pt Monotype Centaur) were mandatory, to lend the project some unity, but the design of each sheet was entirely up to the student.
Over the course of the semester, students of ENGL 205 spent their Friday afternoons in the Bunker setting and fine-tuning their designs, and late in the term we managed to get all of the printing finished up. The process was a lot of fun for all involved, and the result is a diverse yet unified collection of poetry presented in a diverse yet unified graphic ensemble.
Colophon
Designed, set and printed by students of Okanagan College's Diploma in Writing & Publishing in an edition of 35 copies for sale, adn 10 additional copies divided between the poetys and students. Twenty five copies are bundled and enclosed in a portfolio with the remaining copies sold individually.

This poem, an extract from Yvonne Blomer's Death of Persephone: A Murder Mystery, was set (one line each) by students of ENGL 205. Designed in 18pt Monotype Centaur and 60pt Duensing Titling, it was printed in two colours on Nideggen paper in and edition of 50 copies.
